Vintage Recipe Cards: Neapolitan Turnover

Yup! This baby is enough to make any self-respecting Neapolitan grandmother turnover in her grave. What I really love about this card is the decorative touches. The cornucopia napkin theme, and the fancy pressed glasses for the cranberry juice. Would you be surprised to know that I have a complete set of those in my garage? Probably not.

Vintage Recipe Cards: Lemon Sauteed Chicken

Another winner from my collection! Of course, the blue gingham tablecloth and matching serving dishes are fab, but what I really love about this recipe cards are the spice bottles in the background with the fab frontier font labels. That none of those spices are included in this dish matters not. I also like that the chicken looks like it’s been smeared in Vaseline. Enjoy!

Vintage Recipe Cards: Japanese Spiced Barbecue

A truly entertaining vintage meal, complete with dancing poultry, pineapple spears, and questionable spherical objects that could be grapes, olives, or marbles.
