On Thursday, I was invited for a sneak peek at the new Libretto’s Pizzeria at the Markets at Town Center. I was actually a bit nervous about attending this event. Normally, I can observe with clinical detachment as cracker boxes full of mediocrity sprout up at the Town Center like virii replicating across a microscope slide. However, this time something strange had happened – I CARED. I wanted this place to be great.

Jacksonville will soon be home to the first location of a California Pizza Kitchen restaurant in Northeast Florida. It will be located in the St. Johns Town Center at the roundabout near Barnes & Noble and will open for business on July 12, 2010.
