Azurea at One Ocean resort is now introducing an Edible, Life Size Gingerbread Igloo free for the public to view. In fact, children are free to walk inside for a close up view.

Executive Pastry Chef Nancy Slatsky designed the One Ocean Ice Igloo, and a staff of five assisted her in the construction of the eight-foot tall masterpiece. To bring the ‘Ice Igloo’ to life, Chef Slatsky and her staff logged more than 145 hours in this labor of love using 120 pounds of butter, 220 pounds of brown sugar, 175 pounds of flour, 100 pounds of molasses, 125 pounds of rock sugar, 550 pounds of powdered sugar and more than 2,200 eggs.
