Native Sun Natural Foods Market is the first retailer in Northeast Florida to carry products from GIVE Water, an eco-friendly bottled water company that donates ten cents to a local charity every time a bottle is purchased. Pink bottle sales support breast cancer, orange bottles support muscular disorders, blue bottles support children in need, and green bottles support the environment. GIVE is bottled regionally to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and every bottle is 100% recyclable and will return to the earth in 10 years.
GIVE Water has caught the attention of CNN, Fox Business News and numerous other media sources if not for its unique concept, maybe for its 20-year-old CEO Ben Lewis, a student at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. GIVE started with the help of a few high school friends making deliveries out of their cars and has quickly grown into a grassroots movement to change the world. Native Sun has chosen the following local charities to benefit from their sales – The RITA Foundation for breast cancer, MDA Jacksonville for muscular disorders, Children’s Home Society of Florida (Buckner Division) for children in need, and Greenscape of Jacksonville for the environment. In addition to earning 10 cents per GIVE Water bottle sold under their cause color, each charity will be featured as a Charity of the Month under Native Sun’s GreenApples Charity Program within the next year.
