Teddy Roosevelt was asked what he thought of the coffee at Nashville’s Maxwell House hotel. He replied, “It was good to the last drop!” Of course, today his remark lives on as the company’s slogan!

Tales of the indefinite shelf life of the Twinkie have been highly exaggerated. Twinkies actually only have a shelf life of 25 days, according to the Hostess Company, maker of the sweet treat. The cakes last much longer than the average baked good only because they do not contain dairy ingredients.

Should You Take Photos in Restaurants?

I love to take photos of food. I still have a paper I wrote in the sixth grade about wanting to be a food stylist when I grew up. We blog about it, tweet about it, email our friends about it and post our meals on Facebook.

Road Food: Lisa’s Pies – Atlanta, Indiana

Before going on any trip, I do plenty of research on possible places along the way to try new and exciting foods.
During our trip from Jacksonville to Coloma, Michigan, I knew that I wanted to
think outside the box, outside the norm, inside the jar?

This is a great recipe for picnics and cookouts.
It’s especially good if you have small children who can’t participate in the “real” s’mores ritual.
