The 2011 Dining Out For Life event will benefit Northeast Florida AIDS Network (NFAN), a non-profit organization that serves the city’s more than 1,500 HIV and AIDS patients.

Event Report: Caring Chefs

Caring Chefs is an event held in the Avenues Mall featuring 50+ restaurants which benefits the Children’s Home Society. For one Sunday night in October, the mall is shut down and restaurants set up tables throughout the building to serve an item or two from their menus. In my opinion it is the biggest, best and most delicious food event of the year in Jacksonville. This year, I had the pleasure of attending with Nancy White, the director of Tastecasting in Jacksonville.
